Actors Equity Candidate

Andy Nuanhngam

Andy Nuanhngam is an Actors Equity Candidate who has worked through out the country.  He is a Colorado native and started his theatre career and study in Denver.   Regional credits include roles with Aurora Fox, Vintage Theatre, Parker Arts Center, Denver Center of Performing Arts, and The Curtain Playhouse among many others.  Outside his home state, Andy has also had the pleasure to the regional premieres of "Newsies" and "Kinky Boots" and has continued to reprise his role as Paul in "A Chorus Line" with the original choreography for those shows from Broadway veterans.   His teachers (and mentors!) have been Candy Brown (Bob Fosse), Cleo Parker Robinson (Modern), Jill Slyter, Jeremy Benton, Mitch Samu, Brenda Billings, John Ashton, Piper Arpan, and many other incredible talents. He is excited to have the opportunity to teach choreography from "Newsies" which he has now been a part of three times, as well as the Henry nominated production of "Newsies" right here at home.

Our class will consist of some of the original Broadway choreography as well as Andy's own designs. We will start off with a professional dance warm-up, learn about the history of the show, and learn the choreography to "Carrying the Banner" and "Seize the Day".   We will share what we've learned with our family & guests at 3 pm!
