Spring Registration Now Open!

At The Curtain Playhouse we have classes for students in Kindergarten through High School. No audition is required and all students are accepted regardless of skill level. If you have questions about our class offerings please email us at

perform@thecurtainplayhouse.com

This Spring, The Curtain Playhouse is offering classes for three different age groups:

Grades 7- 12 meet Mondays, 5:00 - 7:00

Grades K - 4 meet Tuesdays, 4:30 - 6:00
Grades 4 - 7 meet Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30
NEW CLASS: Grades K-4 meet Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30

**We consider 4th & 7th grades "cross-over years".  Some families feel their child is ready to move-up to the older group, some feel they should stay with the younger kids.  If your child is newer to theatre, we usually recommend they stay with the younger group.

This semester, we are proud to present a NEW musical based on the beloved 2003 Pixar movie "Finding Nemo", with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney,  Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory,  laid-back sea turtle Crush,  and the supportive Tank Gang,  Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow”, Finding Nemo brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

**We understand the pandemic has been financially devastating for many families.  We will not turn away a student who needs assistance with tuition.  Just contact our office & we will do whatever is in our power for your student(s) to participate.

Of course, we are going to rehearse for performances, but we’ll also have fun group activities, and surprises all semester!
Please note: all students must provide theatre shoes as appropriate for their characters following casting. These are either jazz or character shoes, the standard for theatre. More information will be provided after casting.
